Playing catch up!

Wow! A lot has been going on! We continue to grow with members joining from around the globe, very cool. The Wednesday night nets are still going strong and we have had some guys setup to help with net control duties. Thanks guys!

The Samdog / Sunflower run was a huge success! David K7DCL, Gary KD7TXR, John K7JCY (Juicy), Kevin AD5VG, Rick W7STS, Drew KB8YYA and others, (sorry if I am forgetting anyone) did an excellent job with planning and execution of the event. It was well received by the V… Continue

Ragner and Camp Ragnar

Ragnar was, without a doubt the largest and most well organized event I have ever participated in. Kudos to all involved. Especialy those who spent the countless hours doing leg work in the months leading up to the event. Many runners stopped to say thanks for what we were doing. They were very appreciative and I got a cool shirt!

I set up my HF station after my first hour was reported and I had some time. I made quite a few contacts on 20 and 40 meters. I was callling myself the Un-offical Spe… Continue

How could I not sign up for Team Bravo once I learned who the team captain was going to be. Stayed up on New Years Eve just to sign up. Also for your manpower consideration I should have another ham, KF7AJQ, riding with me. Is Exchange 8 still available? Arrrrr Ragnar!!!

Hi guys. Good to hear from all of you. If I can remember, I will link my repeater into the net and listen for several weeks. Joyce and I enjoyed the net via my remote base repeater system last Wednesday. If it works out OK, then I may link my repeater in every week. It might create a problem if too many hams check in via my repeater and all of it's links, but I don't think it will. Anyway thanks for the welcome from all of you.
